Natürliche & umweltfreundliche Putzmittel selber machen

Make natural & environmentally friendly cleaning products yourself

We love this beautiful weather! The only downside: suddenly you see how dirty the windows are, how dusty corners can be where there hasn't been much light in recent weeks, and suddenly streaks appear on mirrors again. That's over now: We're doing spring cleaning with homemade cleaning products and of course taking you along!

By the way: With our homemade cleaning products, you protect both your health and the environment at the same time. 🌏

1. All-purpose cleaner

You need:

• 400ml water
• 1 tbsp citric acid
• 1 splash of dish soap
• a spray bottle

Here's how to do it:
First, put the tablespoon of citric acid into your bottle. We used a funnel for this, but of course, you can also roll a small aid from a piece of paper. Then add the water and a splash of dish soap. Put the lid on and shake well until the citric acid is completely dissolved.

Your natural, inexpensive, and plastic-free all-purpose cleaner that smells summery of lemon is ready. 🍋

We like to use our all-purpose cleaner most in our office kitchen. Spray it quickly on the sink, let it sit for a moment, and then wipe it off with a damp sponge cloth. Important: Shake well before each use!

2. Glass cleaner

You need:

• 400ml water
• 40ml vinegar essence
• 1 splash of dish soap
• optional: a few drops of essential oils
• a spray bottle

    Here's how to do it:
First, pour the vinegar essence into the bottle, add a splash of dish soap, and fill the mixture with water. If the smell of vinegar is too strong for you, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil.

Now shake well and your glass cleaner is ready, and you know exactly what's inside. 🧽

It's especially great for cleaning your mirror. Spray the glass surface, wipe with a damp cloth, and dry with a dish towel. Your mirror will be sparkling clean!

    3. Scouring milk - perfect for stubborn dirt in the kitchen & bathroom

    You need:

    • 300ml soap
    • 1 tbsp baking soda
    • 1 tbsp salt
    • the juice of half a lemon
    • a soap dispenser

    Here's how to do it:
First, put the salt and baking soda into your bottle. (This time we chose a bottle with a pump dispenser because it allows you to portion the scouring milk perfectly.) Now squeeze half a lemon and add the juice (without seeds) to the bottle. You can shake well at this point so that the salt and baking soda dissolve properly. Then add the soap and shake the bottle until everything is well mixed.

Your homemade scouring milk is ready! 🧼

Little tip: For particularly stubborn stains, we used our luffa sponge

Afterwards, dear Lelle labeled our glass bottles with a chalk marker so we always know which cleaning agent is in which bottle.
