DIY: Making a Christmas Wreath

I am so looking forward to the Christmas holidays and can hardly wait to spend cozy evenings with tea and cookies at my parents' place. Until then, I enjoy the Advent season with wonderful DIYs and get into the holiday spirit with my favorite Christmas music. Today, I’m sharing a magical, Christmas idea and showing how we can tie the wreath 'Es weihnachtet sehr' together. I just love the fresh scent of fir greenery – it immediately puts me in a festive mood!

You will need:

Of course, you can also use other branches for the decoration. We are especially excited about the different colors in our mix. The red adds a wonderful Christmas touch!

And here’s how it’s done:

First, lay out all the materials. Start by trimming your fir greenery and other branches of your choice. It is advisable to cut both a larger branch and several smaller ones that can be perfectly combined. Attach the branches one by one with wire, which you can wrap around several times, to the wooden wreath. I find it so cute to wrap only part of the wreath.

Yay! With the self-made Christmas wreath, we not only create a festive atmosphere but also a unique decoration piece for the upcoming holidays. The combination of fir greenery, eucalyptus, and rose hips gives the wreath a special touch. Feel free to add more creative accents as well. I hope this DIY idea enriches your holidays and brings you as much joy as it does me. Happy crafting and a magical Christmas season!
